Why did your community decide to offer Online Giving?

Some of our benefactors have desired to donate using a credit card. Others have been grateful for the possibility of making monthly gifts through electronic funds transfer (EFT). Also, since we chose to eliminate the cost of providing a remittance envelope with our newsletters, we trust Online Giving will provide a convenient alternative for those who support our mission in the Church.

The Online Giving logo looks familiar. Which company do you use?

We chose to use the same company, OSV (Our Sunday Visitor), that many local parishes are now using. We have been very pleased with the customer service provided when we or our benefactors have questions. What are the advantages of Online Giving?

Giving electronically provides an easy and secure way to practice good stewardship, both in fulfilling your primary responsibility to your family and local parish community, and also by using your God-given resources to joining in service with Christ in the universal mission of the Church. Although we are called to love Christ in the faces we see, we also serve him by generously practicing spiritual and corporal works of mercy for those we may never meet in this world.

What are the advantages of registering for a new account?

Although it takes a few minutes longer, a personal account makes donating in the future quicker and easier, as well as these additional benefits:

  • Set up recurring offerings and pledges
  • Give on future dates
  • Track your past and present giving
  • Store your payment methods for future use
  • Receive emails reminding you of future contributions
  • View/print reports of your giving history

Although a message states it may take up to two hours for a confirmation e-mail to be sent after you create a new account, it will probably arrive within a few minutes. Please check your "Junk Mail" folder if it does not.

Since “Quick Give” does not keep a record, you will need to enter your personal and financial information each time you donate.

Can I put different amounts in funds and have all of them withdrawn at different times?

You can set up to contribute to different funds at different times; however, you will have to do each one separately. You will receive a receipt for each one.

What if I change bank or credit card accounts?

Simply login and update your account information.


How are my contributions automatically deducted from my account?

Your electronic contribution will be debited on the date you specify.

What if my circumstances change and I cannot donate monthly/quarterly (e.g. illness or loss of employment)?

You can change any specifications of your donation/pledge at any time through your personal on-line account.
